Beautiful Sunflowers

We at the Sunflower Sangha welcome all interested persons who seek to deepen their experience with the beauty of nature, others seeking more peace in their lives, and an opportunity to put into practice the reality of interbeing. The Sunflower Sangha in Wichita meets every other Saturday from 4-6PM at the Wat Buddhist Temple 5327 N. Broadway. We sit and meditate, have formal and informal recitation periods, and have dharma discussions but mostly we enjoy each other's smiling faces. The Sunflower Sangha is composed of both Vietnamese and Caucasian practitioners and the wonderful blending of different traditions and cultures is truly one of the strengths of our group. We practice in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh and would look forward to you joining us for the opportunity to practice mindfulness and share.
